I am based in Ballarat, Victoria, where I teach Vocal Technique and Anatomy at the Ballarat Arts Academy (Federation University) and run a private teaching studio offering individual lessons both in person and online. I also teach in Adelaide, South Australia and at times, London, UK. I have a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice Performance from the Elder Conservatorium of Music, Adelaide University.
I am in my twelfth year of teaching singing and vocal development and have an advanced knowledge of the techniques required to sing various musical styles. Drawing on a range of technical approaches, including the hugely beneficial and popular Alexander Technique, I work with my students to discover the power of re-connecting with the body and the breath as a means to opening and freeing the voice.
I have been singing and performing from a young age. Some companies I've performed with include The State Opera of South Australian, Co-Opera, Bedlam Oz, Various People, and The English Chamber Choir.
