Michelle has gained a Bachelor of Music (Performance) from The Elder Conservatorium of Music in 1987 and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) in 1989 She has over 30 years experience as a Vocal Teacher and spent 12 years as a Chorus Member with The State Opera of South Australia, performing in many fully staged opera productions and concert performances. Highlights include a season of 'Nixon in China' for the Adelaide Festival in 1992, Mezzo Soprano in Purcell's, 'Dido and Aeneas' with The Mark Morris Dance Group during The Adelaide Festival 1994.
In the minor role of 'The Cousin' in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, 2000 and 'Gotterdammerung' Chorus Member in the Australian Premier of Wagner's Ring Cycle 1998.
She is passionately focused on teaching her students from her classical technique basis to enable each individual to discover their own freedom of expression through singing.
