Amanda Hutton is an elegant, expressive and versatile Lyric Mezzo Soprano. As a singer and performer, her strength lies in her versatility of the range of styles of entertainment she provides through her business, 'Amanda Hutton Productions'.
Based on the Gold Coast, she uses her wealth of repertoire across the genres to provide provide a variety of concerts, recitals and entertainment at various venues for social groups, aged care communities, corporate functions, weddings and funerals.
After completing her Bachelor of Music in Performance and Graduate Diploma of Music in Opera Performance at Queensland Conservatorium, then singing with Opera Queensland for two years, Amanda moved to Sydney to further her studies at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, graduating with her Master of Music Studies in Opera Performance in 2007.
Amanda has extensive professional stage and theatre experience and has performed with Opera Australia, Opera Queensland and the Queensland Pops Orchestra. She has performed in the Sydney Opera House, on the Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour stage, as well as the Queensland Performing Arts Complex in Brisbane.
Amanda's roles include various touring Children’s Opera’s with both Opera Australia and Opera Queensland, as well as ‘Mother Abess’ in The Sound of Music (Redcliffe Musical Theatre) and ‘Fantine’ in Les Miserable (Gold Coast Art Centre, now HOTA).
Amanda is also a member of the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS) and is a registered teacher with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
