Comments:
I offer singing, piano and music theory lessons at my studios in Langwarrin and Mount Martha. I have been studying voice for over fifteen years and have experience in classical, contemporary and music theatre styles.

I can assist in preparation for VCE music exams, AMEB examinations, auditions, eisteddfods, performances and any other musical goals you may have. I work with complete beginners and those with vast experience in music.

I offer lessons in contemporary, music theatre and classical genres. This can include classical technique, correct breath management or musical theatre styles, and I aim to provide a fun, supportive environment to build confidence, with a safe approach to singing. I work on correct posture and placement of the voice to develop good technique and a beautiful sound.

As a teacher I believe everyone should have the chance to learn music in an engaging way. I encourage students to be involved in repertoire choice and in setting their musical goals to ensure they are engaged and working towards meaningful goals. In my teaching I use Kodaly methods to develop aural abilities including sight reading. At my studio I advocate a growth mindset, constantly encouraging students to learn new things and attempt difficult tasks to achieve their musical goals. I believe the process of learning is important; musicians must learn good technique and have a high level of musicianship in addition to learning how to sing songs well.
