Qualifications/Teaching Experience:
Diploma of Opera; Master of Music (Performance) Sydney Conservatorium. I won or was a finalist in all the major Australian singing competitions, and sang principal roles with Opera Australia and state opera companies, and in New Zealand, Germany (with Cologne Opera) and the UK. My roles included the Queen of the Night (Magic Flute), Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier) and Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor). I have been active as a teacher since 1995, teaching adults at all levels. I have a special interest in teaching choral singers, whose need for sound vocal technique is arguably greater than any other type of singer. I am vocal coach for Sydney Philharmonia Choirs and regularly run workshops on vocal technique for choral singers.
